My name is Jack. I was raised in Taiwan, and when I turned eighteen, I moved to California by myself to start a new chapter of life. I worked part-time, studied part-time, and majored in business because I always knew I wanted to start something of my own—though at the time, I had no idea what that would be. I didn’t have money, resources, or a plan. Just a feeling that one day I would build something meaningful.
Five years later, during the pandemic, everything slowed down. For the first time, I found myself thinking deeply about tea—something my grandparents drank every day. Growing up, I never thought much of it. But one day I picked up a teapot and brewed tea for myself.
That one moment changed my life.
I discovered the taste, the aroma, the culture, and the calm that tea brings. It grounded me in a way nothing else had. And in that quiet moment, I finally knew what I wanted to do.
I quit school and returned to Taiwan, traveling back and forth into the mountains to learn tea—its craft, its science, its culture—from the people who lived it. During that time, I worked and saved money, and I shared high mountain tea with anyone who would listen. I wanted people to experience what real tea tastes like—not tea bags, but the authentic flavors of carefully grown and roasted leaves.
In 2023, with just a little money and a simple setup, I started my tea company in the San Francisco Bay Area. At first, it was only a tent and a table at farmers markets and pop-up events. But from that small beginning, we kept improving, learning, and growing.
Today, our teas are loved by customers across the Bay Area, and we’ve even been invited to sell at tea festivals.
And this is still only the beginning.
Our long-term dream is to build a tea house—a place that connects people to the world of tea, just like the one cup that changed my life.
